Great Post! Your insights are appreciated. In today’s world, many give too much importance to political correctness and literal meanings of words instead of the actual message with its context and intentions.

Lost in Translation:

Anyone with multi cultural experience of East and West would recognize that the common message here is to be respectful to all beings. And not to curse or use abusive language on others, especially with strangers solely based on their superficial attributes such as looks, color, gender, age, disabilities, race, etc.

Intended purpose here is not to disrespect another person or use of any words to slander/ smear/ denigrate someone. So elders forbid younger ones not to swear to incorporate the value of respect for fellow humans. So we all can coexist in harmony and peace.

Intentions and actions matter, NOT the literal words.

All those intended purposes and human values in the message of “not to swear” were lost in translation over generations and today most are applying that to few explicit words with its literal meaning. They are not limited to few literal words but actual intentions and context matters.

‘Fuck’ word in this post does not constitute swearing as it has no malevolent intentions and it is just communication with words.

In today's world so-called elites continue to use alternate dictionary words to make derogatory remarks and terming it as political correctness with claims of ‘no swearing’. Despite smart choice of words, it is still swearing as such statements were made with malign intentions to denigrate someone.

Am just saying the fuck that I needed to say. :-)
