Immigrants are not eligible for any benefits until they become a citizen, yet they pay same or more in taxes than of a citizen.

  • Undocumented immigrants are not, and never have been, eligible for food stamps.
  • In 1996, most lawfully residing immigrants were cut from the Food Stamp Program, including many immigrants who had been living and working in the U.S. for several years.
  • As per USDA website, A person must be a U.S. citizen to claim any aid or benefits and in rare cases immigrants can claim benefits if they are under the age of 18 or listed special cases.
