Well said! There is always another perspective. If someone is so prejudiced and never want to venture out of some set parameters then it is their loss for being close minded. Instead of wasting time to find it out later, it is easy to skip racists when the profiles are overt about their racism.
BTW, for many women it is racism, sexism and misogyny when guys reject them based on gender due to sexuality. It depends on what defines racism. Also, sexual intimacy is different from dealing with people in public spaces. So there exists some genuine sexual preferences which are nothing to do with racism. Some may have got past trauma that determines some sexual preferences to avoid the bad memories from the past.
Krishen Samuel This is a good read and the racism is true. May be some are just picky or may be some are racists. Who are we to judge others?. On a positive note, there can be many genuine reasons for having sexual preferences. Anyhow when it comes to random profiles, it is easier to ignore them and move-on with positive attitude and optimism for our own better being.
There are instances one cannot ignore racism when the basic human rights are violated and human dignity is crushed. Corporate America is one of the worst racist places. And the worst part is that such things happens publicly and there is nothing you can do about.
